I am able to connect but unable to browse.

DNS resolution
Click on Start button and then select Run...
Then type cmd in RUN window and click OK. You will see a black window on the screen.
Then type nslookup opposite the command prompt and press Enter. You will get IP address of your default DNS server.

For Windows XP
1. Right click on the Network icon in your task bar and select Open Network Connections.
2. Right click on the Local Area Connection icon and select Properties.
3. Double Click on the Internet protocol (TCP/IP) and select options Obtain an IP address automatically and Obtain DNS server address automatically.
For Windows Vista
1. Right Click on the Network icon in your task bar and select Network and Sharing Center
2. Right click on the Local Area Connection icon and select Properties.
3. Double Click on the Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and select options Obtain an IP address automatically & Obtain DNS server address automatically.
