E-Series Nokia Handsets with YOU Fone

Before you can make YOU Fone Internet calls, you need to define the Internet call settings. After you have defined the Internet call settings with these instructions, your device logs in to the Internet call service automatically when you select Menu > Connect > Internet tel.
To define the Internet call settings, do the following:
- Define a SIP profile.
- Define an Internet call profile.
- Define a SIP profile
Select Menu > Tools > Settings > Connection > SIP settings > Options > Add new.
Define the following settings:
- Profile name — YOU FONE
- Service profile — IETF
- Default access point — Select your WiFi access point from the list E.g. MyWLAN
- Public user name — Enter your full YOU Fone user name e.g. abcde@sip.youtele.com
- Use compression — NO
- Registration — When Needed
- Use security — NO
Select Proxy server and define the settings as follows:
- Proxy server address — sip:sip.youtele.com
- Realm — sip.youtele.com
- User name – Enter your YOU Fone username e.g. abcde
- Password – Enter your YOU Fone password.
- Allow loose routing — YES
- Transport type — AUTO
- Port — 5060
Press Back and select Registrar server define the settings as follows:
- Registrar serv. addr — sip:sip.youtele.com
- Realm — sip.youtele.com
- User name – Enter your YOU username e.g. abcde
- Password – Enter your YOU Fone password.
- Transport type — AUTO
- Port — 5060
Press Back until you return to the Connection Menu.
- Define an Internet Call profile
Select Menu > Tools > Settings > Connection > Internet tel. settings > Options > New profile
Enter YOU Fone as the name for the profile, and select YOU Fone for the SIP profile.
- Making YOU Fone Internet calls
To make a YOU Fone Internet call, your device must be connected to an Internet call service.
Select Menu > Connect. > Internet tel..
The phone will register with YOU Fone using the default access point defined in the SIP profile or
alternativily it will give you a list of available WLANs to choose from.
To make outgoing YOU Fone internet calls choose a name from your address book or just dial a number
Then Press option > call > internet call
Please dial the number using ‘00’ before the country code… ‘+’ before the country code does not work with VOIP
